As a Trustee of HASI, with over three decade of experience in development sector, he has been instrumental in the successful implementation of numerous projects aimed at improving the lives of marginalized groups.

Contribution towards the Nation

Thakur Anup Singh's dedication to serving his country motivated him to make a significant impact on the small and medium-sized businesses in India. This led him to relocate from Meerut to Delhi after completing his studies. While working at Samson Laborites, he identified some issues faced by the company and developed software to address them.

In 1991, the Trio comprising of him, his brother Sudhir Singh and friend Mahender Singh made the decision to embark on a business venture of their own. They deliberated on their vision and strategies while seated beneath a tree in Ashok Vihar, which served as their first office for the initial five months. In 1992, they launched Marg ERP software that revolutionized the operations of small and medium-sized businesses. Sudhir Singh took charge of sales and marketing, while Mahender Singh utilized his technical expertise to enhance the software's user-friendliness for traders. Their relentless efforts were rewarded when 10 Lakh+ users accepted Marg ERP as their business partner.

Social life

For duration of 7 years, Thakur Anup Singh held the position of National Youth President in the All India Kshatriya Mahasabha. In 2010, during his tenure, he embarked on a 20,000-kilometer Chetna Yatra which commenced from Banaras and passed through Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu Kashmir, and Uttarakhand. The yatra culminated with a Mahakumbh at Ramlila Maidan, Delhi, where honorable Amar Singh graced the occasion as the chief guest, and 2 lakh Rajputs participated with great enthusiasm. Currently, Thakur Anup Singh is serving the society as the General Secretary of the All India Kshatriya Mahasabha. He has also made significant contributions to the Anna Hazare Jan Lok Pal movement, which served as his initial foray into politics. After serving for some years with the Aam Aadmi Party as the first co-incharge of Punjab, he resigned from his post due to prevailing circumstances in politics and returned to his business.

Establishment of HASI

After achieving half of his goals, he established HASI (Human Association for Smiling India) in August 2014 with the aim to carry on his father's legacy of patriotism and to help underprivileged children and families in improving their lives. By providing them with essential resources, HASI's objective is to empower people from diverse backgrounds with education, support, and resources they require. Thakur Anup Singh is a firm believer that every individual deserves access to basic necessities such as quality food, shelter, healthcare, education, and other fundamental needs. HASI’s mission is to deliver these necessities to those in need with fairness, compassion, and justice. Mahender Singh and Sudhir Singh also played a significant role by fully contributing and cooperating in this campaign.

Contribution Towards The Society

Under the Marg Skills Program, Thakur Anup Singh has opened 12 skill centers and 500+ academies across India, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and other states. Marg Academy has educated more than 25,000 children, making them capable.

The Marg Academy centers are established in every state of India and provide education to students belonging to SC, ST, minorities, and Naxal affected districts like Gariyaband (Chattisgarh), Sarguja, Balrampur District, Baxar - Gaya District, Palamo - Jharkhand. Education is also provided in remote areas like Artora, Bikaner- Rajasthan, where education is not easily accessible.

80% of the students from these areas have been successfully placed in jobs, and the mission of the Marg Skills Program is in line with the honorable Prime Minister's Skill India initiative.

Every year, thousands of students are provided with job opportunities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the program provided online training to children and made them job-ready.

COVID Relief

Thakur Anup Singh raised donations for the Covid relief fund and arranged an "oxygen man" event to offer consistent oxygen beds, medication, ambulances, doctors, nurses, and other services to Covid patients. He also extended support to ISKCON's free-of-charge Covid care facility and established a Covid Helpline for Marg Family. Moreover, in partnership with DDU College, Marg ERP established a 200-bed Covid care facility with complimentary medical and oxygen facilities.

Super 60 Program

Through a program called "Marg Super 60", Thakur Anup Singh conducted a training in Delhi for children from various parts of the country, where he spent around 40,000-50,000 rupees on each child. As a result of the training, they were given an opportunity to start their own business as a "Marg Partner" in their own region.

School Adoption

While keeping in mind the education of children, HASI adopted a primary composite school in the village Saneta, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh and provided modern amenities such as a library, playground, computer lab, etc.

The HASI also organizes workshops for skill development, sports, music, and arts. The students are given internships to prepare them for a bright future.

Kanyadaan

Thakur Anup Singh has supported the construction of several temples and has also donated towards group marriages. Additionally, he has been donating in the marriage of daughters in his village Saneta.

Contribution towards Gaushala

Thakur Anup Singh has been actively involved in various charitable activities. He has funded the construction of many Gaushalas and regularly donates to the Jeev Kalyan Trust for the well-being of cows.
